Some of my songs have probably got lost forever due to hard disk failures, but most of the nicer ones have continued to live thanks to the safe haven that is the Internet. I made most of my tracker music under the scene alias Yehar.<\/p>\n<h2>2001<\/h2>\n<p><em>Olli Niemitalo - <strong>B.O.F.H. - Servers Under Siege C64 soundtrack<\/strong><\/em> (<a href=\"http:\/\/yehar.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/bofh.sid\">sid<\/a>, main theme\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/sid.oth4.com\/series\/04\/mp3\/Olli_Niemitalo_-_BOFH_Servers_Under_Siege_6581.mp3\">mp3<\/a>), for Lasse \u00d6\u00f6rni's Commodore 64 port of the game. For the game, some of the more funky parts of the song were toned town a bit; the .sid here is the original \"funkier\" version.<\/p>\n<p><em>Olli Niemitalo - <strong>Eighties Megahit<\/strong>\u00a0<\/em>(<a href=\"http:\/\/yehar.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/eighties.sid\">sid<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/yehar.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/sublevel3_eightiesmegahit.mp3\">mp3<\/a>). Commodore 64 SID tune made with Lasse \u00d6\u00f6rni's Goat Tracker, for Goat Compo 1.<\/p>\n<h2>2000<\/h2>\n<p><em>Yehar - <strong>Return of the Shadow Caster<\/strong><\/em> (<a href=\"http:\/\/yehar.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/sl3_return_of_the_shadow_caster.mp3\">mp3<\/a>). A very short piece. I tested my vocal talents here. :-D<\/p>\n<p><em>Yehar - <strong>Steps on Tundra part 2 - Sleepwalk<\/strong><\/em> (<a href=\"http:\/\/yehar.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/steps-on-tundra-2-sleepwalk.xm\">xm<\/a>). A somewhat structurally unfinished piece, has a few nice moments though.<\/p>\n<p><em>Yehar - <strong>Steps on Tundra<\/strong><\/em> (<a href=\"http:\/\/yehar.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/steps-on-tundra-1.xm\">xm<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/yehar.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/sl3_steps_on_tundra_160.mp3\">mp3<\/a>), one of the better \"hi-fi\" pieces. Soothing. I got some positive feedback for this, and Parad\/Sublevel 3 made a remix (<a href=\"http:\/\/yehar.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/sl3_steps_on_tundra_pt2.mp3\">mp3<\/a>) too. :-)<\/p>\n<p><em>Yehar - <strong>Lil Mysterii Cagliari<\/strong><\/em> (<a href=\"http:\/\/yehar.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/sl3_lil_mysterii_cagliari.mp3\">mp3<\/a>). At the time I was playing with Head Related Transfer Functions (HRTF's), and one of the reverb sources was a theatre in Cagliari, Italy.<\/p>\n<h2>1999<\/h2>\n<p><em>Parad - <strong>Fuzzy Me (Yehar remix)<\/strong><\/em> (<a href=\"http:\/\/yehar.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/sl3_fuzzyme.mp3\">mp3<\/a>). Composed by Parad \/ Sublevel 3. I added some things and effects.<\/p>\n<p><em>Yehar -<strong> Exciting Exhibition<\/strong><\/em> (<a href=\"http:\/\/yehar.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/exciting-exhibition.xm\">xm<\/a>), for a game that my brother was writing, Matopas 3, a succession of Boulder Dash type of games starting from my MSDOS game Matopas written in Pascal (the file name was originally mato.pas, meaning \"worm\", for some reason). The game did not get finished. Here are the <a href=\"http:\/\/yehar.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/MATOPAS.zip\">Matopas<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/yehar.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/MATOEDIT.zip\">editor version<\/a> of it and <a href=\"http:\/\/yehar.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/MATOPAS2.zip\">Matopas 2<\/a> games for DOS, only the first of which is finished.<\/p>\n<h2>1998<\/h2>\n<p><em>Yehar - <strong>The East Wing Study<\/strong><\/em> (<a href=\"http:\/\/yehar.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/the-east-wing-study.xm\">xm<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/yehar.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/Yehar-The-East-Wing-Study.mp3\">mp3<\/a>). I sent this song to something... where it was listened to by Skaven \/ FC who gave some positive comments and I was so proud. :-D My friends didn't like the bell at (2:13).<\/p>\n<h2>1997<\/h2>\n<p><em>Yehar - <strong>7 Veljest\u00e4 Romantiikkaa<\/strong><\/em> (<a href=\"http:\/\/yehar.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/romantiikkaa.xm\">xm<\/a>): I was at a school theater for some time, making background music for three plays in total. This is for one I actually never saw live. There was also a \"fighting part\" in the song that sucked and I was embarrassed about, so I removed it. You won't miss it.<\/p>\n<p><em>Yehar - <strong>Screwdriver<\/strong><\/em> (<a href=\"http:\/\/yehar.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/screwdriver.xm\">xm<\/a>): A song that got into Lasse \u00d6\u00f6rni's B.O.F.H. - Severs Under Siege PC version.<\/p>\n<p><em>Surfaze &amp; Yehar -<\/em><strong><em> Da Shining<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>(<a href=\"http:\/\/yehar.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/da-shining.xm\">xm<\/a>): Tuomas M\u00e4kel\u00e4 started this and I finalized it. Ended up as the highscore\/death music in Lasse \u00d6\u00f6rni's BOFH - Servers Under Siege PC version, and was later included in the Commodore 64 version in SID format.<\/p>\n<p><em>Yehar - <strong>Driving SAAB 96 on the Highway of Emotions<\/strong><\/em> (<a href=\"http:\/\/yehar.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/highway-of-emotions.xm\">xm<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/yehar.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/Yehar-Driving-SAAB-96-on-the-Highway-of-Emotions.mp3\">mp3<\/a>). At the time I was listening to Scooter, and I still am of the opinion that early Scooter was good stuff.<\/p>\n<h2>1996<\/h2>\n<p><em>Yehar - <strong>Tropical Calculator<\/strong><\/em> (<a href=\"http:\/\/yehar.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/tropical-calculator.xm\">xm<\/a>), has some bright, digitized Adlib sounds in it. The name probably reflects the good ol' school times and the use of graphing calculators.<\/p>\n<p><em>Yehar - <strong>Friendlyware<\/strong><\/em> (<a href=\"http:\/\/yehar.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/friendlyware.xm\">xm<\/a>), the song that purportedly got me into the local demo group Success Denied in Haukipudas, where I was going to <em>lukio<\/em>.<\/p>\n<h2>1995<\/h2>\n<p><em>Yehar - <strong>Pehmopop<\/strong><\/em> (<a href=\"http:\/\/yehar.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/PEHMOPOP.mp3\">mp3<\/a>), one of a larger collection (<a href=\"http:\/\/yehar.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/FMCSNG.zip\">zip<\/a>) of songs made using Lasse \u00d6\u00f6rni's Faust Music Creator (<a href=\"http:\/\/yehar.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/fmc.zip\">zip<\/a>, contains\u00a0MSDOS executable), Adlib music!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Here is a collection of &#8220;early&#8221; music by me in mp3, ogg, and tracker formats.
